Why use a professional to buy or lease your car
Most people buy a car every few years. I do this every day. Here’s exactly how I work, how I’m paid, and what I can and can’t do for you.
Your time vs. your money
Shopping a car yourself means calling around, comparing worksheets that are built differently, and spending an afternoon at a desk. I do that legwork for you: find the exact car, get the numbers in writing, and explain them so you can decide from your couch.
How I’m paid
I’m a Broker and Product Specialist at Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet Pompano Beach. The dealership pays me — you don’t. I don’t earn more by pushing add-ons on you, so I’ll tell you which ones are worth it for you and which aren’t. Every add-on is optional.
Everyone gets my straight number
Different buyers often get different prices depending on how they shop and how hard they push. I’d rather just give you my straight number in writing up front, and walk you through it.
Where the savings really come from
The selling price is only part of the deal. A lot of the real money is in the financing: the interest rate or money factor, the term, the amount due at signing, and the add-ons rolled into the payment. I make sure you see each of those in writing and understand them. See my lease & loan guide.
Honest limits
- Popular models like a new Corvette often have thin margins, so big discounts are unusual.
- Some cars depend on GM allocation; a factory order can be the best way to get the exact spec.
- I can’t promise the lowest price anywhere, and I won’t pretend to. Financing is subject to credit approval.
Make me your last call
Shop around, get your best written quote, then send it to me. I’ll give you an honest answer either way.
Common questions, honest answers
Doesn’t using a broker cost me more?
No. I work at Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet Pompano Beach and I’m paid by the dealership, not by you. There’s no broker fee added to your deal. You see the same itemized numbers in writing that you’d see anywhere else, and you decide.
I’d rather negotiate myself.
That’s fine — plenty of people do. Get your best written quote, then send it to me through Beat My Quote. If I can beat it, I’ll show you in writing. If I can’t, I’ll tell you it’s a good deal.
Whose side are you on?
I’m upfront about it: the dealership pays me. What I can promise is transparency — every number in writing, every add-on optional and explained, and a straight answer when you ask whether something is worth it. My business runs on repeat customers and referrals, so I can’t afford to burn you.
I need a car fast.
Tell me today. If it’s in stock I can check availability, get you numbers in writing and line up paperwork quickly. Delivery to your home or office can be arranged through the dealership.
Can you get me $10,000 off?
Honestly, usually not on popular new models. Hot cars like a new Corvette often have thin margins and limited allocation. What I can do is get you a fair, written number, make sure you understand the financing, and keep add-ons you don’t want off the deal. I won’t promise savings I can’t show you.
